Back up every board

One unencrypted .soundboard.zip archive. Includes original audio, boards, order, trims, colors and playback settings.

Restore a backup

Accepts new ZIP backups and old .soundboard.json backups. Adds imported boards without replacing existing ones. Repeated imports create duplicates.

Safety limits: 2 minutes and 16 MiB per clip; 64 MiB audio and 1,000 pads per backup. Very large libraries still need individual exports.

Make a pad

Record Sound or Import audio, preview, name and save. The three-dot menu has trim times, color, loudness matching, volume, looping, replacement and export.

Perform

Turn on Overlap sounds to play different pads together (up to 8 voices). The same non-looping pad restarts; a looping pad toggles off. Performance hides editing controls, not your Stop all button. Playback stops when the app is hidden.

Organize

Create boards with +. Arrange shows drag handles for touch and mouse; arrow keys work on focused handles. Move pads between boards from the editor.

Install and update

Use the same production HTTPS address in Safari. Share → Add to Home Screen → Open as Web App. Open the installed icon online once and wait for Offline ready. Use Reload to update when offered; do not clear website data to update.

Protect your recordings

Back up before updates, clearing website data or removing the app. iPhone and iPad have separate libraries. ZIP backups are unencrypted; checksums detect accidental damage, not an untrusted sender. Import only backups you trust.

Calls, screen locking and switching apps may interrupt audio. Keep the app visible and preview important recordings. First playback of an uncached clip still requires decoding.
